Course description

This course is designed to give students a language foundation in Jordanian Sign Language.  The course will include the origins of the language, the alphabet, and finger-spelling; colors; animals; foods and drinks; family signs; feelings; professions; verbs and key nouns. Students have materials to use for practicing vocabulary and sentences. At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a short story in JSL with clarity. 

What will i learn?

• Know introductions and basic phrases, know how to count to ten and how to fingerspell.
• Understand how to use visual signing to communicate with persons who have less language ability.
• You will learn Arabic and English letters in sign language.
• You will learn numbers from zero to nine, and basic colors in the Jordanian sign language
